Buenos Aires, November 18 (NA) — A massive internet outage is affecting users worldwide this Tuesday, making numerous social platforms, streaming services, and news portals inaccessible. According to the Argentine News Agency (Agencia Noticias Argentinas), the cause of the collapse is a failure in Cloudflare's services. The company, which manages the traffic for a large portion of the internet, is a web infrastructure and security provider. User reports have skyrocketed in recent minutes, indicating an inability to access the social network X (formerly Twitter), as well as major international and local media sites that use the affected firm's content delivery network (CDN). When attempting to access the pages, browsers return "500 Internal Server Error" or "502 Bad Gateway" messages, indicating that the servers cannot respond to requests. Cloudflare has confirmed that it is "investigating the incident" and working on a solution to restore traffic.
